First Elminage port for modern consoles to be announced in mid to late February

Mebius is expected to unveil the initial console adaptation of their dungeon RPG series, Elminage, which was developed by STARFISH-SD, sometime between mid and late February. This reveal was hinted at by the company.

The Elminage series consists of the following titles:

As per Mebius’ statement, the console adaptations of the numbered series are planned to follow the design of the 3DS versions, with modifications to enhance gameplay ease. The debut title is set for a Japanese launch during the early summer season.

Despite Mebius not disclosing the initial game they intend to remake, they conducted a survey in May 2024 asking fans which Elminage title they’d prefer to revisit. The majority vote went to Elminage II with a significant 66.9%, followed by Elminage III at 14.4%, Elminage Gothic at 10%, and Elminage Ibun: Ame no Mihashira trailed closely behind with 8.7%.

Later in June 2024, Mebius conducted another survey to discover which platforms users preferred for playing the game Elminage. The majority of votes, accounting for approximately 39.8%, were cast for consoles. This was followed closely by a preference for PCs with 36.6% of the total vote count. Smartphones and handheld devices garnered around 23.7% of the votes.
