In reply to individuals claiming that 11-year-old North, a child Kim co-parents with her former spouse Kanye West, landed the role due to family connections, Kim proposed an alternative idea instead.

If anyone chooses to criticize a child who is enjoying every moment, then my response would be: ‘Respectfully, I couldn’t disagree more.’
Despite some criticism on social media that North’s rendition of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” wasn’t as good as those from Broadway stars, Kim was filled with nothing but pride for her eldest child, especially since the performance received a standing ovation.
