As she approached her untimely demise at 55 years old, the Food Network host offered insightful glances into her life, which mirrored her vibrant character.
Five days before she passed away, Anne was snapped taking a selfie under the sun with New York City’s The Green Lady, a popular influencer. She donned her distinctive platinum blonde locks, a floral green top, and sunglasses for the photo. Interestingly, The Green Lady opted for an all-green attire, even dying her hair green to match.

Apart from cooking, Anne has been involved in something else thrilling lately. In fact, she recently extended an invitation to her followers for her June 16 improv show with The Second City comedy school. She shared that the classes she’s been attending have been a “tremendous fun” experience in her Instagram post.
In every one of her posts, Anne, who is left behind by her husband Stuart Claxton, her stepson Javier, her mother Marlene, and her siblings Jane and Ben, often utilized hashtags to describe herself as a “fortunate woman” and expressed joy about her life using the tag “#ILoveWhatIDo.
The culinary expert’s optimism was echoed by her family in their statement announcing her death.
In a statement shared with TopMob News on June 17th, Anne’s family described her as cherished by many roles – wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend. Her smile had an extraordinary ability to brighten any space she stepped into. Anne’s positivity reached far beyond her immediate circle, affecting millions worldwide. Although she is physically gone, the warmth of her character, her vibrant spirit, and her endless love continue to endure eternally.
The Food Network paid tribute to Anne’s memory, expressing in their statement, “Anne was an extraordinary individual and culinary virtuoso – she taught, competed, and consistently emphasized the significance of food in her life and the pleasure a delightful meal can bring. Our sympathies are extended to Anne’s family, friends, and admirers during this period of profound grief.
