On Monday Night Raw, Main Event Jey Uso ignited the crowd’s enthusiasm, but he wasn’t alone in stirring up excitement. In a later segment, it was disclosed that a past WWE Champion had arrived, and this former champion turned out to be Bayley, the Role Model herself. It was then announced that she would now be a regular on Monday Night Raw and would also participate in the Royal Rumble match.
As a movie buff might put it, so far, only Nia Jax has been officially confirmed for the Women’s Rumble match, but tonight, things took an interesting turn during Bayley’s segment. Bayley boasted about her ability to take on anyone from Raw now that she’s part of the red brand, even challenging the Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. And just when I thought the conversation was over, Jax made her entrance, hinting at a possible showdown between these two powerhouses in the near future.
Jax recalled events prior to Raw’s commencement, disclosed at the program’s outset. Before entering the arena, he assaulted Ripley, violently thrusting her into a fence several times and then kicking her to the ground. The duration of Ripley’s absence isn’t clear, but she dismissed medical attendants, suggesting that her recovery might be swift.

For Bayley, this development presents some exciting new creative avenues for her story arcs. Previously, Bayley was engaged in a back-and-forth feud with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown, and more recently, she managed to mend fences with Bianca Belair due to her friendship with Naomi.
In Stratton’s absence from the title, there weren’t many opportunities left for her; a shift to Raw provides more possibilities. Certainly, she could challenge Ripley for the title, but she also has chances to go up against Liv Morgan, Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Lyra Valkyria – who is now the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Recently, Bayley has been making appearances all around, including NXT, which seems to be her current highlight. The reason for this could be because she’s engaged in a storyline with Roxanne Perez, who might transition from NXT to Raw or SmackDown soon. This rivalry offers an excellent platform to showcase Perez as she moves up to the main roster, and Bayley, playing the role of a babyface, provides the ideal contrast to make that promotion successful.
