Fortnite confirms major Star Wars event – with fun twist on fan-favourite character

Starting from May 2nd, the Galactic Battle in Fortnite will feature some prominent characters from a distant galaxy, such as Mace Windu, Emperor Palpatine, and even a Leading Cuddler Wookiee.

There’s no question that the standout figure at this event is none other than the character known as Darth Jar Jar, who originated from a popular fan theory and then made his appearance in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.

Now, he’s making his gaming debut, and it’s safe to say players are buzzing.

One enthusiastic fan of the game Star Wars exclaimed: “I didn’t anticipate how much I would love your game, as it brought my favorite character, Darth Jar Jar, to life.

In addition to flying alongside Darth Jar Jar, players will have the opportunity to take control of both X-Wing and TIE Fighter spacecraft, serving as both pilot and co-pilot. They’ll also get a chance to explore various themed map destinations.

Spanning over a whole month, every week will feature its unique topic. The journey commences with an Imperial Takeover slated for May 2nd, and culminates with a Death Star Sabotage scheduled for June 7th.
