As a seasoned TV critic with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from the rise and fall of critically-acclaimed series to the unexpected successes that captured the hearts of audiences. But this latest FOX Fall 2024 schedule has me more excited than ever!
As a long-time fan of animated sitcoms, I’m thrilled to pieces about Fox’s latest announcement! With over 800 episodes under its belt, The Simpsons continues to be TV’s longest-running primetime scripted series ever. I remember watching the very first episode back in the ’90s and being hooked ever since. Now, they’re reaching another major milestone, and it’s a testament to their enduring appeal and creativity.
To begin with, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time and Pacific Time, you can watch the new episode of “The Simpsons,” titled “Bart’s Birthday” (season 36 premiere). Then, stick around for “Universal Basic Guys” at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. Afterward, don’t miss the season 15 premiere of “Bob’s Burgers,” airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Lastly, be there for the start of “Krapopolis” season 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Using our team of animators, we managed to produce an impressive lineup of shows this year, which turned out wonderfully, according to Al Jean, co-showrunner of “The Simpsons.” However, production came to a halt for a four-month hiatus due to the strike. I’m grateful for the break, but I’m confident that the series is thriving. In my opinion, the current episodes are exceptional, regardless of how much I contribute. Furthermore, I believe that we have a promising future ahead, with plans to reach episode 800 and hopefully beyond.

The Simpsons Season 36
In the premiere of “The Simpsons” Season 36, Bart experiences a shocking birthday party like no other, which could potentially alter the lives of every resident in Springfield. The new season also offers two spine-tingling Halloween episodes. In “Treehouse of Horror XXXV,” monstrous beings born from political anger threaten to destroy Springfield, Mr. Burns is startled by the vengeful spirits of his exploited workers on Thanksgiving, and Homer forms a unique bond with extraterrestrial denim in an unforgettable stop-motion adventure. Additionally, the bonus horror special, “Treehouse of Horror Presents: Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes,” sees a tattooed man at a circus transport Lisa into three distinct tales from the 1950s, the present day, and a future ruled by prestige TV. The thirty-sixth season of “The Simpsons” is packed with thrilling stories! Grampa’s past as a 1980s private detective comes to light, the family encounters death at an expensive resort in “Yellow Lotus,” and Lisa gets entangled in the dangerous world of Capital City’s downtown art scene.
Universal Basic Guys Season 1
The show “Universal Basic Guy” debuts its new season in the Animation Domination line-up for the first time. In this season, Mark and Hank aim to reconnect with their natural instincts by acquiring an automatic crossbow for deer hunting. Mark also buys a football championship ring from eBay to gain favor with his old hometown team. Lastly, for their anniversary, Mark intends to buy Tammy an expensive exotic pet but can only afford a rescued chimpanzee from a lab, who subsequently damages his face.
Bob’s Burgers Season 15
The Emmy-winning show “Bob’s Burgers” is back for its 15th season. The story revolves around the Belcher clan – Bob and Linda, parents, and their kids Tina, Gene, and Louise, who manage a burger joint by the sea in New Jersey. This time around, Bob has to conquer his fears and team up with Louise for a father-daughter boogie boarding contest. Meanwhile, Tina takes on a new role as the author of the school’s anonymous “Ask an Eighth Grader” advice column. In addition, when their landlord, Mr. Fischoeder, proposes that they cater his crucial event at no cost if they meet certain conditions, the Belchers must pull out all the stops to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Krapopolis Season 2
In the animated comedy “Krapopolis,” created by Emmy Award-winning writer Dan Harmon (“Rick and Morty,” “Community”), we follow the humorous exploits of a bickering clan of gods, humans, and monsters as they attempt to govern one of ancient Greece’s first civilizations. In the upcoming season, chaos ensues when Krapopolis hosts its annual Ice Week festival: Deliria and Shlub strive to show Tytannis the importance of human life but inadvertently end up taking out their servants; and to put Krapopolis on the map, Tytannis hires Hippocampus to launch the city’s inaugural restaurant.

On Wednesday, the 25th of September, I’m excited for two TV premieres! From 8:00 to 9:00 PM, it’s time for “The Masked Singer” Season 12. And from 9:00 to 10:00 PM, I can’t wait for the second season of “The Floor.” These shows never disappoint!
On Thursday, September 26th from 8:00 to 9:00 PM, watch the premiere of Hell’s Kitchen (Season 23). Following that, at 9:00 to 10:00 PM, catch the premiere of Crime Scene Kitchen (Season 3).
Starting September 13, Fridays at 8:00 PM Eastern Time (5:00 PM Pacific Time) are dedicated to FOX College Football, FOX College Hoops, and FOX UFL on FOX.

On Tuesday, October 1st, from 8:00 to 9:00 PM, you can watch the season premiere of “Accused”. Following that, from 9:00 to 10:00 PM, is the time period premiere of “Murder in a Small Town”.
