Today, the free-to-play competitive shooter game from Bad Guitar Studio called FragPunk is now available on PC. Unfortunately, its release for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 has been postponed with no definite launch date.
The developer has acknowledged that there have been unforeseen technical issues during optimization and adjustment, which is why they’ve chosen to postpone the console release to deliver an “equivalent experience” to the PC version, as opposed to releasing it prematurely and potentially offering a subpar user experience.
Good news for players who pre-ordered the Pioneer Bundle! If you bought it on either the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store, not only will you get a refund, but also an additional $10 worth of in-game currency as compensation. Although there are no immediate plans to reopen pre-orders, the bundle is expected to be available again for a limited period after the console versions have been released.
In addition, players using consoles will get all the in-game rewards they’ve earned from the beginning of Season 1 up until the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. These rewards cover currency, aesthetics, and experience points. Further information about these rewards will be shared later on.
