NetEase has unveiled the console launch date for their chic, free-to-play multiplayer shooting game titled FragPunk.
Following a last-minute delay, the game will now launch on PS5 on 29th April 2025.
The announcement comes via a new trailer, combining gameplay clips with slick cinematics.
during gameplay, you can activate special cards which introduce various effects that twist the normal rules. There are over one hundred such cards to choose from, and with ten players participating in team-based rounds, it results in a great deal of unpredictable action as everyone employs their cards.
Above the standard card system, it also features a hero shooter gameplay, boasting 12 distinct characters, each with their own specialized skills.
The gameplay moves swiftly and requires quick reactions, as it has a low time-to-kill and matches usually end in under three minutes.
In about two weeks, you can dive right in and explore for yourself. This game offers cross-platform play and progression, linking it to the PC edition. As a token of our apology for the delay, console users will receive some free in-game rewards.
