Francis Bourgeois to Host The Grand Tour?

It appears that social media personality, Francis Bourgeois, is rumored to be under consideration as the next host for Amazon Prime Video’s The Grand Tour.

Previously, the highly acclaimed automotive show was hosted by the ex-presenters of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. However, they decided to depart from the series last year.

According to recent reports, train enthusiast Bourgeois could potentially host a new season of The Grand Tour on a streaming platform. However, it is important to note that the production company has not yet confirmed the production of any new episodes.

Known primarily for his popular trainspotting videos across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, Bourgeois is also recognized for hosting a web series on Channel 4 where he accompanied celebrities like Tom Daley, Aisling Bea, and Sam Ryder during their travels.

Last year, I eagerly heard Hammond announce that The Grand Tour would carry on, with fresh faces stepping in as presenters and an innovative team manning the cameras – yet he kept the specifics under wraps.

He shared with Metro.co.uk, “It’s going to keep going,” he said. “The Grand Tour is not ending; instead, we’re moving aside as hosts. Prime will be taking it forward. I can hardly wait to sit in my own chair and watch someone else host it. That’s truly exciting.

We’re more than willing to listen should they wish to speak with us, without a doubt. However, we are no longer involved in guiding or influencing the situation further. We are moving on.

The team responsible for creating this specific production will change. A new group will take over, developing a new show tailored to their unique abilities.

In case you’re craving more adventures with Clarkson, Hammond, and May, Amazon has announced that they’ll be releasing four special episodes reminiscing their past antics.

On Friday, 18th April 2025, “The Modest Journey: The Throne and the Radiance” will be making its appearance, with more tours – “The Sort-of Grand Tour: A Stroll Along Nostalgia’s Path,” “A Bit Farther Down Memory Lane,” and “Absolutely Misplaced Down Memory Lane” – to follow in the ensuing months.

The trio will reminisce about some memorable moments, as well as a few challenging times, they experienced during their multiple journeys and escapades.
