Friends star Lisa Kudrow reveals joyful scene which made her tear up watching

Having grown up with this iconic sitcom, I can vividly remember the joy and excitement we all felt when Phoebe finally found her happily ever after with Paul Rudd’s Mike Hannigan.

As a die-hard fan of Friends, I must confess that when Lisa Kudrow’s character, Phoebe, got married, I couldn’t help but shed a few tears. The moment she walked down the aisle was particularly moving for me; it truly tugged at my heartstrings.

On the Dinner’s On Me podcast hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kudrow admitted that despite the passage of time, there are still several episodes of the popular sitcom she hasn’t watched in full.

Regarding Phoebe’s marriage to Mike Hannigan, portrayed by Paul Rudd, in the series finale, the actress shared that this event had a significant emotional impact on her character.

Speaking as a cinema enthusiast, when I witnessed Phoebe walking down the aisle with that radiant grin on her face, it brought a lump to my throat – she was just so overflowing with joy.

There was an authentic joy about her that was truly heartwarming, almost indescribable. She truly seems deserving of such happiness.

Previously this year, Kudrow disclosed that she had been revisiting certain episodes of the series as a way to recall Matthew Perry, after her fellow actor’s sad passing the previous year.

She admitted to The Hollywood Reporter in June that she hadn’t been able to view it due to feelings of self-consciousness. However, if the conversation can be shifted towards Matthew, she finds that more acceptable.
