I’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of “Gachiakuta,” one of the highly anticipated new anime series this year! The latest promotional video offers a tantalizing glimpse into Zanka’s debut, a character that has generated quite a buzz among fans. For years, we’ve been clamoring for an anime adaptation of Kei Urana’s popular action manga, and our wishes are finally coming true as part of the Summer 2025 lineup. As the countdown to its release continues, I can’t help but feel my excitement building with each character reveal!
Following the unveiling of detailed character posters for Rudo and Enjin earlier, the upcoming anime, Gachiakuta’, has now revealed a poster highlighting Zanka, one of its main characters. Fans are eagerly anticipating seeing all four key characters in action, and this latest promo offers a unique color scheme for Zanka – he’s depicted in blue as opposed to Rudo’s red and Enjin’s yellow. With each character getting their own distinct colors, the picture of the anime is gradually coming together. Take a look at the fresh glimpse into Gachiakuta’s anime premiere below.
When Is Gachiakuta Coming Out?
The animated series titled “Gachiakuta” is slated to debut in July during the Summer 2025 anime lineup, although a specific release date has not been set yet at this point in time. Once it airs, viewers outside of Japan will be able to stream it exclusively on Crunchyroll simultaneously with the Japanese episodes. Fumihiko Suganama is directing the new “Gachiakuta” anime for studio Bones, while Hiroshi Seko takes charge of scriptwriting, Satoshi Ishino handles character designs and functions as chief animation director, and Taku Iwasaki is in charge of composing the music.
Speaking here, I can confirm that the upcoming series will be headlined by Aoi Ichikawa as Rudo, Katsuyuki Konishi as Enjin, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Zanka, and Yumiri Hanamori as Riyo. It seems we’re on the cusp of unveiling Riyo’s official character poster as we edge closer to the summer premiere of this new anime. Original creator Kei Urana shared his excitement when the full reveal was announced, saying “I hope this anime resonates within you! I can’t wait to watch the Gachiakuta anime with all of you!
