Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark demo for PC now available

As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that I recently got my hands on the demo for “Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark” by Inti Creates! This exciting preview is available on Steam as part of the February 2025 Edition of Steam Next Fest. In addition, pre-orders are now live at a 10% discount from the launch price of $29.99, and they come with an added bonus: the “Demon Maid’s Trusty Tools Set” as a free downloadable content! Can’t wait to dive deeper into this game!

The demonstration showcases the start of the narrative, where Demon Lord Maxim encounters a tragic end at the hands of adversary lord Lyzenorg. Subsequently, the demon maid sisters Kirika and Masha embark on a journey to rescue him. Additionally, it offers a two-player local cooperative gameplay mode.

Here is an overview of the game, via Inti Creates:

The latest addition to the Gal Guardians collection, titled “Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark“, offers a gothic-flavored experience in the realm of 2D action-adventure games.

In the revamped version of “Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark,” the game world expands beyond a solitary castle to encompass the entire Demon Realm. This expansion transforms the gameplay into a genuine Metroidvania experience, offering more exploration and challenges. The story also introduces two fresh characters, Kirika and Masha, each with distinct playstyles. Players can seamlessly switch between these characters to fully traverse the expansive regions, confront enemies, and vanquish bosses.

In this twisted realm, your quest is to scour near and far for a way to resurrect Master Maxim, the Demon Lord Kirika and Masha belong to, and regain his dominance. This journey will see you battle alongside demons, against them, and even encounter Demon Hunters hailing from the Human Realm. Brace yourself for an extraordinary odyssey!

The game titled “Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark” will be released on March 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
