Bronze Trophy: Rise of the Ronin

In a nutshell, “Rise of the Ronin” adheres strictly to Ubisoft’s classic open-world structure, which might seem old-fashioned, but its unique setting – Feudal Japan – is captivating. This period, often overlooked, is brilliantly recreated by Team Ninja as it portrays the cultural collision between East and West across numerous cities. Contrary to misleading assertions, one commendable aspect of Star Wars Outlaws is the freedom it offers. The game’s map employs a “fog of war” mechanism to conceal its landmarks and hidden treasures, forcing players to explore and uncover side quests and items. This exploration is smooth, without any interruptions from load screens as you traverse from planet surface to space, with the latter also being partially explorable. Although the main campaign could make better use of this freedom, it has its benefits: Star Wars Outlaws is an ideal game for unwinding while listening to a podcast.

Gold Trophy: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

The expansive and diverse areas in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth are worth noting for their abundance and range of content. Even without the additional stories scattered across its numerous maps, the array of activities you can engage in within Honolulu, Kamurohco, and Ijincho are pure entertainment. If you’re seeking a diversion from the main storyline, this open world is more than happy to accommodate for several hours. The series has always been characterized by this approach, but Infinite Wealth stands out as its grandest expression (to date). This game by Capcom is centered around exploration and maintaining a sense of unpredictability, with random occurrences turning mundane road trips into memorable experiences.
