As a movie buff with a penchant for all things fantastical, I find Kit Harington’s decision to steer clear of Westeros intriguing, given his long and tumultuous journey within its confines. Having watched him grow from an innocent lad to the King in the North on Game of Thrones, it’s understandable that he might need a break from the world he helped create.
Actor Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, confessed that he doesn’t tune into the show’s prequel, House of the Dragon, and doesn’t foresee himself doing so in the future.
During an interview with Associated Press at the Industry season 3 premiere where he plays a fresh role named Henry Muck, Kit Harington admitted that he finds it hard to watch anything set in the world of Westeros.
“I think for me it’s just I’ve spent too long there,” he said.
“I genuinely hope they have a fantastic journey with House of the Dragon, as I’ve heard great things about it. However, personally, I don’t envision myself tuning in. The same goes for Game of Thrones; I might not revisit it for quite some time.”
It appears that Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, won’t reappear in the Game of Thrones universe on screen anytime soon. This is because he stated that his spin-off project focused on Jon Snow has been cancelled.
