Gary Lineker reveals he was offered Celebrity Big Brother but chose to prank bosses

However, it seems that Lineker will not use the additional time for reality television shows, as offers to participate in a future season of Celebrity Big Brother have reportedly been declined.

In conversation with Micah Richards and Alan Shearer on their well-known podcast “The Rest Is Football”, Lineker mentioned that he had been approached for the possibility of featuring in a popular reality TV show.

He mentioned that he was asked to join Celebrity Big Brother last week, which seemed surprising to both Richardson and Shearer.

Originally, his representative playfully forwarded it, and upon receiving it, he responded, “Indeed, Gary’s compensation is set at £50 million!” He said this with a grin.

Later on, Shearer cautioned him, predicting that this might not be the sole attempt regarding his accessibility. He conveyed this message to Lineker by saying, “You’re going to be invited to participate in every single one of these.
