Gears of War Collection Will Launch for PS5 Day One – Rumour

It’s being suggested that a significant number of popular Xbox exclusive games, such as Fable, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and others, could be coming to PlayStation 5 in the near future, joining titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Forza Horizon 5, and DOOM: The Dark Ages, all set for release on PS5 soon. However, there are also unannounced projects in development that we’re not privy to yet.

According to a well-known leaker named extas1s, who shared this news in a recent video, there are plans to release the highly anticipated Gears of War Collection simultaneously for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on the same day. It’s uncertain at this time whether a version for the Switch 2 will also be released. The leaker doesn’t have exact details about when the collection will be officially announced, but claims it will include remastered versions of the original Gears of War trilogy.

It’s not a new rumor that “Gears” is coming to PlayStation 5. Given how quickly Microsoft is expanding their games across platforms, it seems likely that we’ll see more of their flagship franchises appearing on non-Xbox consoles in the near future.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Gears of War series, titled “Gears of War: E-Day.” Based on recent whispers, this epic adventure is slated for a grand debut in the autumn of 2025, gracing both Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms.
