During the Xbox Games Showcase, there was an abundance of announcements – from disclosing the launch date for “The Outer Worlds 2” to unveiling the “Persona 4 Revival”, a remake of “Persona 4”. Regrettably, “Everwild”, “State of Decay 3”, and “Perfect Dark” were not present, nor were other upcoming in-house games such as “Fable”.
During the presentation, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer confirmed some updates, including the release of Fable in 2026 together with Gears of War: E-Day (previously speculated) and the next Forza title. He also hinted at a beloved game from Xbox’s early days coming back to life, which might be suggesting the anticipated remake of Halo: Combat Evolved.
