Microsoft has announced that the upcoming game “Gears of War: Reloaded” will support full cross-platform multiplayer and cross-progression without the necessity of a Microsoft account, but with certain conditions applied.

Players aiming for cross-platform cooperative or competitive multiplayer won’t need a Microsoft account to engage with others on various platforms. However, having an account will offer advantages like seamless progression in both campaign and multiplayer modes across all platforms, making it easier for players to switch between systems without losing their progress.

The game titled “Gears of War: Reloaded” is set to release on the 26th of August for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and personal computers. The cost of this game will be $39.99.
