Gene Hackman’s Nephew Breaks Silence on Shocking Death Theories!

Gene Hackman’s family is not jumping to any conclusions.

Following the tragic discovery of both Betsy Arakawa (age 65) and her 95-year-old husband in their Santa Fe, New Mexico home on February 26, along with one of their dogs, their nephew Tim Hackman underscored that they are keeping a watchful eye for the results of a comprehensive investigation to ascertain the cause of their untimely demise.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Tim, who is Gene’s nephew and son of Richard Hackman, stated that they are currently awaiting the results of a toxicology test. Once these results are available, they will have all the answers they need. At this point, it’s difficult to form theories as there are many speculations circulating, and Tim prefers not to engage in negative speculation.

Currently, amidst the numerous queries about the demise of the Academy Award recipient and his spouse, the family continues to maintain a hopeful outlook. As Tim expressed, “For the time being, the family wishes to focus on positivity, and once we uncover the truth, we will address it.

Two days following the grim discovery of Gene and Betsy, who had been married since 1991, deceased in separate rooms within their homes, the police provided a suspected sequence of events regarding their deaths. During a press conference held on February 28th, Sheriff Adam Mendoza of Santa Fe County, stated that authorities believe Gene passed away around February 17th, deducing this timeline from the last registered occurrence on his pacemaker.

However, according to the sheriff, determining the timeline of their deaths is a challenge.

The sheriff stated during an interview on Today, February 28th, that there were no signs of anyone being inside the house or any unusual activities. As a result, it’s challenging to ascertain whether they both expired simultaneously or if there was a significant time gap between their deaths.

As everyone works to understand the unfortunate incidents, Gene’s impact in Hollywood is being honored by his companions and admirers. During the 97th Academy Awards ceremony, Morgan Freeman reminisced about how the actor from “Welcome to Mooseport” desired to be commemorated.

As a devoted admirer, I echoed his sentiments at the March 2 event: “Gene was not preoccupied with legacy; he merely wished to be recognized as someone striving to create meaningful work.” In essence, I believe we can all concur that Gene will be remembered for this and so much more.
