With Season 2 just around the corner, you’ll be greeted with a fresh Battle Pass, a new BlackCell version of the pass, and a host of regular content updates and in-game events to keep you engaged.
In the upcoming second season, we’ll delve into both Zombie and Warzone gameplay scenarios. Notably, progression and rewards will be interconnected between these two modes, as well as the Black Ops 6 multiplayer.
When does Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 start?
The upcoming start of Season 2 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is set for January 28th, which means there isn’t much time remaining to finish the Season 1 Battle Pass if you haven’t already done so. With the arrival of Season 2, the previous season will disappear and make way for a new one.
The specific launch time hasn’t been disclosed so far, but considering historical patterns, we believe it could go live during the morning in Pacific Time, or between 4 PM and 6 PM in the United Kingdom.
In the fresh season, you might need to get an update for the game first before you start playing the latest content.
What can we expect from Season 2 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone?
So far, we only have the two intriguing preview pictures from the post and the question, “Will you be the pursuer or the prey?” Both phrases convey a sense of anticipation about the content’s theme.
The pictures feature an unidentified character who seems likely to be the main protagonist in the upcoming season, holding a weapon called Tanto, which is also the name of a traditional Japanese sword that appears in the scene. As for the wall-running depicted, since Omnimovement, introduced with Black Ops 6, doesn’t include this ability yet, let’s save the discussion about it for later.
As a tech-savvy gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the latest updates! The upcoming Zombies map, The Tomb, and the slew of quality-of-life improvements in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone are making waves. One feature that has really grabbed my attention is the option for console players to opt-out of crossplay in ranked modes. This could potentially level up the competitive experience!
