Get Ready for a Blankety Blank Comeback with Bradley Walsh’s Hilarious Return!

It’s time get your quiz caps on, as Blankety Blank returns to BBC One in little under a week.

This year, following the holiday season special from last year, Bradley Walsh returns to our TV screens yet again, accompanied by a team of six celebrities. Their mission is to complete puzzles and assist contestants in winning some fantastic prizes.

The game show will air on Saturday 19th April at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

On Saturday, the attendees are Antony Cotton, Nish Kumar, Rosie Jones, Lesley Joseph, Shane Richie, and Mel B. Each of them is set to assist several fortunate participants.

In the year 2021, the popular show Blankety Blank was brought back to life by the BBC. Notable personalities such as Jimmy Carr, Judi Love, Ainsley Harriott, and Jonathan Ross are among those who have graced the stage since its revival.

Regarding the comeback of the show, Walsh expressed at that moment: “It’s hard for me to recall the last time I laughed as heartily as during the filming of Blankety Blank, so when they proposed a new series, I eagerly accepted.

I’m absolutely thrilled to be involved. I feel privileged to carry on in the footsteps of comedy legends like Les Dawson and Sir Terry Wogan, but I aim to make the show uniquely my own by adding my personal touch.

In her statement back then, Kate Phillips, the entertainment head at BBC, expressed that “Blankety Blank is packed with everything you’d expect – absurd questions, unexpected celebrities, peculiar rewards, and Bradley, who’s both hilarious and adored as our host. I can hardly wait for everyone to tune in and start filling out those blanks themselves!

In the meantime, Amelia Brown, Thames’ managing director, expressed: “Pairing this iconic format with the iconic Bradley Walsh for a series is incredibly exciting! It feels like a perfect match. We can hardly wait to start recording in the studio with Bradley and an array of talented panelists.
