What horror film gives you the biggest scare? I’m just curious! If you’ve been building your collection, the latest addition to the Ghost Face series has arrived. Funko and Entertainment Earth have teamed up to create a new, colorful figure. The infamous villain from the Scream franchise is joining other legendary horror movie characters, featuring his own Black Light Funko Pop. In this version, Ghost Face is sporting shades of purple, green, pink, and yellow (with a blood-splattered knife). These hues become even more intense when viewed under blacklight. Scream 7 Casting News
As a die-hard Scream fan, I was eagerly waiting for the next chapter in this iconic horror series. However, it appears that the production process took an unexpected turn before things really got started. With the departure of directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from Radio Silence, followed by Melissa Barrera’s dismissal, and Jenna Ortega deciding to step away, the creative team was forced to rethink their approach entirely. Recent updates suggest that they might be doubling down on a retro vibe for this installment, which is quite intriguing given the latest developments.
Earlier announcements for the Scream series had confirmed that Scott Foley and Matthew Lillard would reprise their roles, but more recently, David Arquette has been added to the cast as well. Since all three of these characters died in previous Scream movies, it’s unclear how their return will unfold. In the 2022 Scream film, Skeet Ulrich’s character Billy Loomis appeared as a ghost tormenting his daughter Sam, so perhaps these actors could portray spirits imagined by Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott in some capacity.
In addition to the already announced actors, Scream 7 is expected to feature some familiar faces too. Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown, who played twins Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin in the fifth and sixth movies, will be reprising their roles. Moreover, there are a few fresh talents joining the crew as well. Isabel May, best known for her role in the prequel of Yellowstone titled 1883, is set to play the daughter of Sidney Prescott, portrayed by Campbell. Other newcomers include McKenna Grace and Celeste O’Connor from Ghostbusters: Afterlife, as well as Anna Camp from Pitch Perfect.
Looking forward to catching the next Scream installment? Mark your calendars for a thrilling experience on February 27, 2026! Remember to visit our dedicated Gear Page regularly for updates on this exciting movie and related collectibles.
