Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’s success

Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice” was a film project that took several decades to come to fruition, but the wait was definitely worth it. The sequel to Burton’s ’80s supernatural tale, titled “Beetlejuice,” drew fans of the original movie back into the enchanting world of the mischievous demon once more as his realm’s door was opened anew. The film surpassed expectations, becoming one of Burton’s highest-grossing movies ever. With a cast that fans were eager to see reunited, and the inclusion of actress Jenna Ortega from “Wednesday,” it wasn’t surprising to find both new and old audiences eagerly watching this film.

As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that “Beetlejuice” was not just any ordinary movie opening; it was actually the second-best debut of Tim Burton’s career, trailing only behind the magical adventure of “Alice in Wonderland,” which made a grand entrance with a whopping $116 million. What’s more, it claimed the third spot for the highest opening weekend of the year, surpassed only by the action-packed duo of “Deadpool” and “Wolverine,” and the highly anticipated sequel, “Inside Out 2.”

As a passionate admirer, I can’t help but wonder if there might be a “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice” sequel in our future? However, according to /Film, Burton seemed less than excited about the prospect, offering a somewhat cryptic response instead.

Sure thing!

“Well, they discuss it, but if things continue as they are, I wouldn’t be involved until I was over 100 years old. It’s possible, but I can’t say for certain. With the advancements in medical science today, I just don’t know. However, personally, it doesn’t really appeal to me – if you brought it up, I’d probably steer clear. But this was something that piqued my curiosity. Who knows what else might capture my interest? Not at the moment though, as I’m still working on this project.
