2K officially unveils WWE 2K25, setting a launch date of March 14, 2025 for PS5 and PS4 versions. Roman Reigns graces the cover, while the Deadman Edition, starring The Undertaker, and Bloodline Edition, featuring Reigns’ and Solo Sikoa’s group members, are scheduled a week prior. Check out the full reveal trailer above.
This year’s version offers the usual improvements such as a lineup of more than 300 wrestlers, fresh match types (chain wrestling, bloodline rules, and underground matches), and upgrades to MyGM, MyFACTION, and MyRISE modes. However, what truly sets WWE 2K25 apart are the two exceptional features: a new 2K Showcase mode centered around The Bloodline, and an entirely novel The Island experience.
Exclusively playable on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, The Island offers an interactive environment structured around various WWE-themed sections. Here, you’ll traverse this world, vying with other players to earn a WWE contract by impressing Roman Reigns. You’ll undertake missions, participate in live events, and design your unique superstar to dominate beyond the ring, as the press release describes.
Roman Reigns expressed his personal and professional enthusiasm about the WWE 2K25 spotlight on the Original and Only Tribal Chief, as well as the Anoa’i family. For years, we have been working towards this moment across generations, and he invites all players to demonstrate their skills and prove they are deserving of the attention from their Tribal Chief, alongside his trusted advisor, Paul Heyman.
