Following a deal with Hasbro last year, we’re nearing the end of the Playmates era for Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers figures. Playmates had previously shared details about the Re-Ignition figure wave earlier this year, but recently, more information and images have been disclosed, including the first opportunities for pre-orders. You can find all the essential details provided here.
Currently, pre-sales for Playmates Toys’ Re-Ignition Auto-Morphin action figures featuring characters like the Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Yellow Ranger are now available. Packaging hints at upcoming figures of Rita Repulsa, Goldar, and Putty Patroller, in addition to the previously announced Green Ranger. The figures seem to be around 4.75-inches tall with fundamental movement capabilities.
Pre-orders for these items are currently available on UK retailer Merchoid, priced at $29.99 each. They will be released in October 2025. The price covers all taxes, shipping costs (and possibly tariff charges). Initially, it was stated that the price would be $9.99 per item, but due to potential tariff issues, this might change before the fall release. Keep in mind that pre-orders may become available soon on American retailers like Amazon at a more affordable price. For further details and images of each figure, including packaging, continue reading below.
As a dedicated Power Rangers fan, I’m thrilled to share that you can get your hands on the Auto-Morphin Black Ranger Action Figure at Merchoid! This figure is a fantastic replica of Zack Taylor, brilliantly portrayed by Walter Emanuel Jones. The set includes the Power Axe and Blade Blaster, which transform into their blade and blaster forms, adding an extra layer of excitement to your collection!
Transformable Pink Ranger Action Toy – Available at Merchoid: It includes the Power Bow (transformed into a bow) and the Blade Blaster (transformed into a blaster), resembling the look of Kimberly Hart, portrayed by Amy Jo Johnson.
Transformable Action Figure of the Red Ranger (Auto-Morphin) – Check it out at Merchoid: Includes the Power Sword and Blade Blaster, which can transform into sword and blaster shapes. Modelled after Jason Lee Scott’s (Austin St. John’s) appearance.
Transformable Action Figure of the Blue Ranger (Auto-Morphin) – Available at Merchoid: Includes a Power Lance and a Blade Blaster that can transform into both blade and blaster forms. Modeled after Billy Cranston, portrayed by David Yost.
This toy figure is modeled after the Yellow Ranger character, Trini Kwan (portrayed by Thuy Trang), from the Power Rangers series. It comes equipped with Power Daggers and a transformable Blade Blaster that can assume both blade and blaster modes. You can find it at Merchoid.
