The BBC has officially announced that the premiere date for Not Going Out season 14 is coming up faster than expected.
That’s right, Lee Mack and Sally Bretton will be back on BBC One on Friday 13th June 2025 at 9pm.
In the next series of episodes, there will be a leap in time, where Lee and Lucy (played by Bretton) depart from their empty suburban nest, deciding to utilize their newfound freedom to invest more in their relationship. This change is bound to bring about amusing, perhaps even humorous, outcomes.

After nearly twenty years, this sitcom deserves to be called the longest-running British sitcom that is still being aired today.
Apart from persisting vigorously at present, it’s also anticipated to carry on through the upcoming year. In fact, next year marks its 20th anniversary, and we can look forward to more confirmed episodes in celebration.
Mack expressed his joy upon hearing that the BBC is providing strong backing for another studio sitcom, as he stated following the announcement.
He stated: “I’ve always had a deep affection for this genre, and having been a part of it for numerous years feels like a great honor. Plus, it gives me an excuse to avoid shopping, since I usually keep the underwear provided at home.
