Getting LOST Trailer Brings the Cast of the Hit Show Back to the Island (Exclusive)

As a gamer with a heart for television shows and documentaries, I can hardly contain my excitement for Taylor Morden’s upcoming documentary, “Getting LOST“. Having been a devoted fan of “LOST” since its inception, this film feels like a dream come true. The prospect of seeing interviews with the cast and crew that brought this iconic series to life is simply exhilarating.

ComicBook has been given an exclusive sneak peek at the trailer for Taylor Morden’s upcoming documentary, Getting LOST, courtesy of PopMotion Pictures. This project is the work of Morden, director of films like The Last Blockbuster and Pick It Up! – Ska in the ’90s, and his studio, PopMotion Pictures. The documentary will delve into the global impact of the television show that revolutionized TV forever, its dedicated fan base, and the ongoing legacy of LOST. Notably, it will also explore the recent disclosures about the challenging work environment in the writers’ room, as detailed in Maureen Ryan’s book Burn it Down.

The movie will compile fresh interviews from the cast, crew, and enthusiastic fanbase, along with a vast amount of historical footage – approximately 100 hours from an unfinished LOST documentary that was halted in 2010. This film will showcase new conversations with actors and producers from the series such as: Evangeline Lilly, Daniel Dae Kim, Henry Ian Cusick, Emilie De Ravin, Nestor Carbonell, Josh Holloway, Terry O’Quinn, Maggie Grace, Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson, Malcolm David Kelley, Elizabeth Mitchell, Sonya Walger, Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, Jack Bender, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Michael Giacchino, and Larry Fong.

As a passionate gamer and LOST enthusiast, I’m thrilled beyond words to finally share the fruits of over three years of dedicated work on this project with fellow fans worldwide. This movie has been more than just a job; it’s been a heartfelt labor of love. The opportunity for our independent documentary to grace movie screens globally is nothing short of monumental.

The movie titled “Getting LOST” will be screened in various theaters across Canada through Cineplex on November 3rd and 6th. Tickets are currently available. Additionally, it is being showcased at the Hawaii International Film Festival on October 11th (with an additional 50 tickets just released), and in Barcelona during the Serielizados fest on the 16th.
