Now, it’s been made official! Sony opted to conclude their latest State of Play broadcast with the sequel’s announcement.
Titled Ghost of Yōtei, as implied by its name, this game is set to transport players to an entirely fresh location that lies beyond Tsushima island. Situated in the area surrounding Mount Yōtei – an active volcano – the action-adventure title introduces a new protagonist, implying that Jin Sakai will not be reappearing in this sequel.
The main character appears to share a deep bond with wolves, but it’s unclear if this connection will grant her unique skills. Despite this mystery, the announcement trailer provides ample gameplay footage, featuring intense battles, smooth stealth sequences, breathtaking landscapes, and other exciting elements.
