As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of stories that tug at the heartstrings and make one pause to reflect on the fleeting nature of life. The tragic tale of Lewis Stevenson serves as yet another reminder of the importance of cherishing every moment we have with our loved ones, and the dangers that come with seeking validation through dangerous stunts.
Following the tragic death of a popular British influencer during a daring stunt, those close to him are now speaking out publicly for the first time.
Lewis Stevenson’s girlfriend, Savannah Parker, expressed a touching and sorrowful tribute following the tragic incident where the influencer fell from the 630-foot tall Castilla-La Mancha Bridge in Talavera de la Reina, having illegally climbed it.
5 o’clock in the morning, and neither food nor rest have touched my lips. On Facebook, October 13th, she expressed that this must be a dream gone wrong. She’s feeling terribly ill due to the fact you’re not returning. Please, return soon. Pick up the phone.
Savannah went on saying, “I want to express my gratitude to each one of you for your messages and affection. If I haven’t responded yet, please understand that I’ve read them all and am touched by your kindness. Unfortunately, there are just too many messages coming in right now and I can’t respond individually. For those who are in a relationship, give your loved ones an extra-long hug on my behalf.
Additionally, she shared the last message her boyfriend sent from his phone, a text he composed prior to ascending the bridge.
In the wake of a British influencer’s death following an attempted stunt, those closest to him are finally speaking out.
Lewis Stevenson’s partner, Savannah Parker, paid a touching and emotional tribute to the deceased social media influencer following his tragic fall from the 630-foot tall Castilla-La Mancha Bridge in Talavera de la Reina. This incident occurred when Stevenson was illegally climbing the structure.
5 in the morning, I’ve neither eaten nor rested. Can someone confirm this isn’t a dream, it feels like one, she posted on Facebook Oct. 13. I’m feeling extremely unwell due to the fact you’re not returning. Please return. Pick up the phone.
Savannah went on to say, “I want to express my gratitude to each of you for your messages and affection. If I haven’t managed to respond yet, please know that I’ve read them all and am touched by your kindness. At the moment, I’m finding it difficult to reply to everyone due to being swamped. So if you’re in a relationship, give your loved one an extra-tight hug on my behalf.
Additionally, she shared with everyone the last message her boyfriend sent to her, a text he composed prior to ascending the bridge.
In a conversation that took place around 11:30, he expressed his goodbyes and affection by saying, “Good night, I love you,” according to Savannah. Later, at 5:30 in the morning, he sent a message with three kisses, greeting me with “Good morning.” Unfortunately, I didn’t see that message until about 7:45. (MailOnline was mentioned in the original text but it is not necessary to include it here for clarity)
As a devoted follower, I, Lewis, would like to share that my grandpa, Clifford Stevenson, who is 70 years old, attempted to have a heart-to-heart conversation with the influencer, urging them against performing such daring feats.
He often found himself urging him to change his actions, but that was just his nature,” he shared with MailOnline. “He enjoyed it immensely and always went forward with the conviction that everything would be fine. He did what he did for personal satisfaction, not for any financial gain. He was an explorer at heart.
According to his girlfriend, Lewis, who frequently posts pictures of his daring climbing exploits across the globe on social media, started his adventures at least five years back.
Savannah stated, “Though it concerns me, I tend not to delve into matters since I’m already anxious enough, letting him handle his affairs. Normally, he returns, but this past weekend, he didn’t.
During Lewis’ last moments, he was not by himself. As revealed by Macarena Muñoz, Councillor for Citizen Security in Talavera de la Reina, the deceased was accompanied by another British man, age 24, when the incident occurred. The identity of the deceased was further disclosed to be a British national.
The official stated in a release from the mayor’s office that they had arrived at Talavera with the intention of ascending the bridge to produce content for social media platforms. Regrettably, this action led to the unfortunate and tragic result we are now facing.
She emphasized that ascending the bridge is strictly forbidden, and we’ve made this clear on numerous occasions, stating unequivocally that it’s not permissible to do so under any conditions.
Grandfather Lewis, Clifford Stevenson, aged 70, mentioned that they had attempted to dissuade the influencer from performing such daring feats.
He shared with MailOnline that we had consistently tried to dissuade him from certain actions, but his nature was unchanging. He took great joy in doing what he did and always went out there with the confidence that he would be fine. His actions were driven by personal pleasure rather than financial gain, making him an adventurer at heart.
