Gladiators confirms season 2 return date on BBC

Prepare yourself, your Saturday evenings are set to be filled to the brim! BBC One and iPlayer are welcoming back “Gladiators” for an exciting second season!

As a dedicated movie buff, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! I’ve just learned that the iconic game show will be gracing our screens at 5:50 PM, right on the 18th of January. And

Last year in January, the revival of the show made its way back onto television screens, featuring Bradley and Barney Walsh as hosts, guiding a fresh group of Gladiators to challenge ordinary people.

Back once more, we find Sabre, Legend, Diamond, Phantom, Athena, Bionic, Giant, Dynamite, Comet, Viper, Electro, Apollo, Steel, and Fire – with Fire making an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing most recently.

Not only are the current Gladiators part of the mix, but also two fresh faces are set to join them, and their names have yet to be revealed.

Unfortunately, our beloved Gladiator, known as Nitro or Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, won’t be back in his usual role for this season. He sustained an injury during training, which means he’ll be watching from the sidelines rather than participating.

Sharing the update on Instagram, he mentioned: “I’m all about speed, but occasionally, life surprises me with an unexpected twist!

In the process of preparing for season 2 this year, I suffered an unforeseen knee injury that unfortunately will cause me to change my plans and miss the upcoming competitions in this series.

On New Year’s Day, the popular series “Gladiators” made a comeback on the BBC, featuring its first celebrity edition. Rob Beckett, Joel Dommett, Ellie Taylor, and Louise Minchin were among the stars participating in this exciting event.

The thrilling episode saw Joel and Ellie win in the male and female competitions respectively.
