Glen Powell's Perfect Reply to Claim He's Better Than Ryan Gosling

As a die-hard fan, I simply can’t help but gush over Glen Powell! This man is not just a star; he’s a beacon of talent, charm, and humility that illuminates the silver screen. His journey from the University of Texas to Hollywood stardom, complete with a detour for some college classes in between, only adds to his allure.

Glen Powell knows he’s Glenough.

The actor from “Hit Man” showered Ryan Gosling with compliments, when it was hinted that Glen might be considered more attractive by both men and women compared to the star of “Barbie”.

“Gosling is a legend,” Glen posted to X Aug. 27. “I’m just Glen.”

35-year-old’s reaction undeniably brought joy to his fans, who flocked to social media to express their feelings on the topic, even joining in on the trending Barbie memes. One user quipped, “You’re like a tornado!” Another chimed in, “Everywhere else, you’re a 10, though.”

The heartfelt response came in response to an article quoting an anonymous producer who compared Glen’s rise to 21st century movie stardom to that of Ryan.

In the article published on August 26th in The Wrap, it was mentioned that Glen Powell is rapidly rising as a notable movie star, with viewers specifically going to watch his films. Unlike Ryan Gosling whose fanbase primarily consists of female viewers, Glen’s appeal spans across both genders.

Without a doubt, ever since his standout performance in “Set It Up”, Glen’s stardom has soared even higher – this is particularly evident in his more recent films such as “Top Gun: Maverick”, “Anyone But You” and “Twisters”. Interestingly, amidst his busy schedule for his new series “Chad Powers”, where he has astonished fans with his remarkable makeover in behind-the-scenes photos, Glen is also immersing himself in studies.

Previously over the summer, it was mentioned that he planned to return to university for completing his degree at the University of Texas.

Glen shared with Indiewire in July that he won’t typically attend classes alongside other students due to his busy schedule. Instead, he’ll return briefly to complete his studies, but this fall he’ll be filming The Running Man, which will take him to London. However, he plans on returning for proctored exams.

Furthermore, he clarified that his decision to earn his dual major in Spanish and Early American History was equally important to him and Cyndy Powell.

He mentioned that this matter is particularly significant to his mother and holds a strong emotional value for him. Moreover, he added, he feels so connected that it seems almost tangible to him.
