Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Santa Monica Studio are planning to provide a complimentary update for God of War Ragnarok on March 20th. This update includes the “Dark Odyssey” set of armor, character styles, and accessories as a tribute to the 20-year anniversary of the God of War series, as announced by both companies.

■ Dark Odyssey Collection – In-Game Update for God of War Ragnarok

On March 20th, as a token of appreciation to all owners of God of War Ragnarok, we’ll be offering a complimentary update for both PlayStation and PC users. This update will encompass the “Dark Odyssey” collection without any extra charges.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that we’re reviving the iconic black-and-gold theme from the original “God of War” (2005) and the legendary skin revealed in “God of War II,” awarded upon completing the game on God Mode difficulty. This nostalgic tribute is especially crafted for our 20th anniversary celebration!
After the update has been activated, you’ll have the ability to retrieve items from the listed collection either directly from any Lost Items chest within the main game or automatically during your time in Valhalla.

Edit Appearance for Weapon and Shield Attachments
In the upcoming March 20th patch, we’ll include an option for players to customize the look of their Dark Odyssey weapon attachments and shield rond using the “Appearance Edit” feature with regards to Kratos’ gear.
With our selection, you’re free to choose a visual that complements your style along with the features you need for your customization.
