A TV show adaptation of “God of War” was given the go-ahead by Sony and Amazon Prime in 2022. Earlier this year, it was announced that the scriptwriting phase had begun. As a devoted fan, I’m sharing some intriguing news: According to Deadline, the talented team of Rafe Judkins (from “The Wheel of Time”), Hawk Ostby, and Mark Fergus (“The Expanse”) have parted ways from the project. Despite opting for a distinct creative path with the series, the studios are currently seeking to bring in a completely fresh writing team. The specific direction they’re aiming for is yet unknown.
