In the final chapter, King Gomuh is vanquished, marking the end of the tale. He’s the primary adversary throughout the series, becoming the new Demon King following Dabura’s demise during the Majin Buu arc. Gomuh was taken aback by the unfathomable powers wielded by Goku and his companions, fearing they might threaten the Demon Realm. Under Degesu’s influence, he concocted a plan to transform them into children using the Earth’s dragon balls. Incredibly, even Dende, who had been turned into an infant due to a wish, was among those kidnapped by Gomuh.
Consequently, Goku and his companions enter the Demon Realm with the intention of restoring balance. Towards the climax of the series, we discover that former Demon Kings possessed a unique third eye, bestowing them with unprecedented power. However, it was misplaced before Dabura’s reign began, as nobody knew it hung on Hybis’ waist. As anticipated, Gomah increased immensely in power upon obtaining it. The only way to vanquish him was to strike him thrice at the back of his head. In their battle, Neva aided Goku in transforming into Super Saiyan 4.
Goku Fires an Ultra Kamehameha in Dragon Ball Daima Finale
Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 4, making it official that this form from GT (Dragon Ball GT) is now considered part of the canon storyline. Unlike GT, where characters had black hair instead of red like in Dragon Ball Z (Daima), this version features red-haired Super Saiyans. During his battle against Gomah, there was a momentary setback, but Goku ultimately proved stronger than ever. The Kamehameha remains his most famous attack, but it gets an upgrade in the finale. In a breathtaking scene, Goku unleashes a 10x amplified Kamehameha, supercharging the attack and punching a massive gaping hole into Gomah. Despite being at full strength, Gomah was unable to withstand this devastating assault.
Nevertheless, the wave doesn’t halt at Gomah but surges ahead, breaking down the dividers between the three Demon Realms. Initially, it appears in the Second Demon Realm, where Tamagami Number Two observes it. Continuing its destructive journey, it eventually penetrates the Third Demon Realm, catching Tamagami Number Three’s attention. It’s noteworthy that this is the first time Goku has managed to tear through multiple dimensions.
Fortunately, since he retained his third eye, Gomah recovered swiftly. There might not have been a more fitting finale for Toriyama’s masterpiece than the Kamehameha. Over time, fans have witnessed numerous interpretations of this attack; however, this one could be the finest so far, all thanks to Toei’s stunning animation.
Goku’s Kamehameha Is Still Shonen’s Most Iconic Attack
In 1986, Kamehameha was initially introduced. Subsequently, Goku mastered this technique, which subsequently became his distinctive, powerful attack. Its renown stems from the years of anticipation leading up to its execution, characterized by Goku cupping his hands, dramatic invocations, and unleashing a potent energy blast. Over time, the move has undergone development, with iterations such as the Super Kamehameha, Instant Transmission Kamehameha, and Ultra Instinct Kamehameha being employed in various battles.
In numerous iconic instances, such as his battles against Vegeta, Cell, Majin Buu, and others, Goku has employed the Kamehameha attack. These scenes represent not only the power behind this move but also embody Goku’s resilience and development throughout his journey. Beyond being a potent technique, the Kamehameha stands as a symbol of determination and Goku’s unwavering spirit, earning it a place among the most celebrated moves in anime lore.
