Golden Bachelorette’s Gil Ramirez Got Restraining Order Before Filming

As a devoted fan of The Golden Bachelorette, I must say this latest turn of events has left me utterly flabbergasted! It seems like every season, there’s always a twist or two that makes us question the sanity and integrity of some contestants.

Among the gentlemen vying for Joan Vasso’s last rose on ‘The Golden Bachelorette’, one contestant found himself under scrutiny as allegations of stalking a woman surfaced prior to the start of the dating series recording.

62-year-old accuser from California brought forth allegations against contestant Gil Ramirez (age 60) in a temporary domestic violence restraining order she filed just days prior to the commencement of ABC’s ‘Golden Bachelor’ spinoff’s first season, which was about to go into production.

TopMob News attempted to contact Ramirez on September 18th and the television network, but we have yet to receive a response from either party.

According to a report published by TopMob News on September 20th, the woman claimed that her former boyfriend, Ramirez, had been emotionally tormenting her persistently for a period of two weeks, with the latest instance being May 20th.

In her TRO application, she stated that although she had instructed Ramirez not to reach out to her, he persistently contacted her, as well as her family members and acquaintances, by showing up uninvited at her home. Moreover, she claimed that there were approximately 25 daily attempts made through phone calls, text messages, and emails. Additionally, she asserted that he would confront her in person at locations where she regularly visited each day.

The woman added that no injuries resulted from the alleged encounters with Ramirez.

The court issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) to her, restricting Ramirez from communicating with the woman, approaching her personally, or getting within 100 yards of her residence, job, car, and her children’s school on the very day she filed the complaint.

In early July, the order was resubmitted, however, the legal proceedings were terminated towards the end of the same month because there was no evidence for prosecution, as court documents indicate.

A source close to the Golden Bachelorette told TopMob News that the production was “recently made” aware of the TRO filed against Ramirez.

According to the source, the submission was made during the short gap between wrapping up our comprehensive background check and approval process, and starting with the actual filming. Given the recently verified details, we’ve decided to reduce his on-screen appearances even more and lessen his presence in promotional materials from now on.

As mentioned in my official Golden Bachelorette biography, I am an educator and a father of two, hailing from Mission Viejo, California. On the premier episode aired on September 18, I successfully navigated through the first round of eliminations.

In early July, a new order was issued, however, the legal proceedings were terminated towards the end of the same month as there was insufficient evidence for prosecution, according to court documents.

According to a reliable insider, TopMob News learned that the team behind the “Golden Bachelorette” has been informed about the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) filed against Ramirez.

The event took place right after our extensive background check and verification were completed, but before actual filming started, according to the source. Due to the freshly validated details, we’ve decided to reduce his on-screen appearances even more and play down his role in promotional materials from now on.

In his official “Golden Bachelorette” biography, Ramirez is characterized as an educator and father of two residing in Mission Viejo, California. During the premier episode on September 18th, he managed to progress beyond the initial round of eliminations.

Recently, it was announced that a restraining order has been issued against him, following closely on the heels of reports about Devin Strader, the winner of The Bachelorette season 21, who faced arrest and a restraining order in 2017 due to a burglary incident at his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.

According to a reliable source connected with “The Bachelorette”, it was reported to TopMob News that the 28-year-old’s past legal issues were not discovered during the background check. However, Strader clarified in an Instagram post that the accusations were misunderstood or misinterpreted.

He mentioned that he and his former college girlfriend eventually parted ways amicably.
