However, it wasn’t just her who emerged victorious in the building. Alongside her, Anna Sawai from ‘Shögun’ was also celebrating her first Golden Globe win, having been awarded Best Actress in a Television Series—Drama. Furthermore, Tadanobu Asano and Hiroyuki Sanada, her costars, also took home awards in the Best Supporting and Best Actor categories respectively.

While accepting her award onstage, Anna was sure to call out one of her fellow nominees.

She expressed gratitude to the voters for choosing her, acknowledging that she would have picked Kathy Bates any time instead. She also praised the exceptional writing team, noting that without their excellent scripts, it would be challenging to deliver performances at their peak potential.

As for other cast ensembles soaking it all in?

At the recent event, the team behind “Abbott Elementary,” featuring stars like Quinta Brunson, Chris Perfetti, Janelle James, and Lisa Ann Walter, came together in a memorable way. Even though the show didn’t win any Globes this year, their spirits were high as they took joyous selfies and pictures with other celebrities such as Anthony Mackie and Amy Adams from “Nightbitch.

Notably, the renowned duo Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning also graced the event with their presence, with Dakota having received a nomination for her outstanding portrayal in “Ripley.

Instead of wearing formal ceremony dresses, Dakota chose a dress with a deep neckline in black and Elle donned a leopard-print dress paired with a matching scarf for a more party-suitable style. Both sisters beamed with joy as they marked the occasion together.
