Claudia Winkleman will fill in for Graham Norton during a single episode of his BBC One talk show, taking over hosting duties on Friday, 28th February. This temporary swap includes Claudia’s roles from Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors.
In my latest cinematic musings, I had the privilege of tuning into yesterday’s (10th January) talk show, where I found myself in the esteemed company of hosts like Winkleman, along with talented individuals such as Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Billy Porter, and Myles Smith. During this enlightening gathering, Norton made a captivating announcement that left quite an impression on me and fellow viewers.
He mentioned that Claudia has another temporary job upcoming, following their discussion about The Traitors. Specifically, after wrapping up the current series, she will embark on an Australian tour. While she’s away, her position will be temporarily filled by none other than Claudia Winkleman for a week.
The news elicited excited applause from the studio crowd and other attendees, with the exception of Winkleman who modestly responded by saying, “I’m sorry.

In the 32-season history of the show, it’s going to happen for just the second time that someone other than Norton will host an episode. The first and only instance so far was when Jack Whitehall hosted in 2019, as Norton was occupied with Eurovision duties at the time.
Indeed, it’s no surprise that Winkleman, a BAFTA award-winning favorite among British television viewers, has landed another prestigious hosting gig – just the latest in a series of high-profile assignments.
I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming episode I’ll be hosting, and while the specific celebrities gracing my sofa are still under wraps, I always look forward to the dazzling array of stars this show consistently attracts, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
In the upcoming episode next week, stars such as Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Michelle Yeoh, and Jonathan Bailey are scheduled to make an appearance. A week later, Ariana Grande, Will Ferrell, and Reese Witherspoon will be talking with Norton.
