Gran Turismo 7 Update Adds Six New Cars, Updated Physics Model, and More

As a dedicated fan of the Gran Turismo series, I am absolutely thrilled to see yet another exciting update for Gran Turismo 7. The addition of six new cars, including the iconic BMW M3 ’97 and Ferrari 430 Scuderia ’07, is enough to make any racing enthusiast’s heart race with anticipation. And the return of the Eiger Nordwand track, a personal favorite from earlier games, is the cherry on top.

Polyphony Digital and Sony are set to roll out another exciting update for “Gran Turismo 7,” maintaining their consistent pace in providing new features since its launch a few years back. As usual, this latest update, labeled patch 1.49, offers an abundance of fresh content for the game.

To begin with, in the latest version of “Gran Turismo 7,” six new cars have been added. These include the BMW M3 from ’97, Ferrari 430 Scuderia from ’07, Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 from ’08, RUF RGT 4.2 from ’16, and Subaru Impreza Rally Car from ’98. Furthermore, this update introduces a new GT circuit, which fans of the game might recognize – it’s the Eiger Nordwand track that’s back in “Gran Turismo 7.”

Additionally, Update 1.49 introduces a refined physical simulation model focusing on suspension and tire calculations. This enhancement significantly improves weight shifting during cornering, as stated by Polyphony Digital. Furthermore, collectors at level 50 and above can explore the new GT Cafe Menu, Sophy experiences upgrades, and other enhancements. For further information, please watch the trailer below.
