As a dedicated gamer with hundreds of hours logged into various fighting games under my belt, I can’t help but get excited every time a new character is announced for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The latest addition to the roster, Vikala, is no exception. Her transformation sequence in the trailer alone left me in awe.
In August 20th’s update for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, a new character named Versusia joins the roster. However, fans won’t have to wait long for the next DLC addition as Cygames announced Vikala will be coming in October. Here is her transformation sequence showcased in the trailer below.
I’m thrilled to share that Vikala, one of the Twelve Divine Generals, has two distinct aspects – Yin and Yang. Yin is more reserved and introspective, while Yang is cheerful and optimistic. It’s intriguing to ponder how these facets might influence her gameplay style, but we’ll have to wait and see. Excitingly, Character Pass 2 is currently under development, and it will bring us the long-awaited Sandalphon with a sneak peek already given. However, the release date and the total number of characters in this pass are still unrevealed.
As a longtime fan of role-playing games with a soft spot for beautiful graphics and captivating stories, I’m thrilled to share that “Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising” is currently accessible on my PlayStation 4, the new PlayStation 5, and even on my trusty PC.
