Let me warn you, this article contains a conversation about suicide and thoughts of self-harm which might be upsetting for some readers.
EastEnders provides a sneak peek into the explosive confrontation between cousins Grant (portrayed by Ross Kemp) and Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) set to occur on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025.
Previous week, Steve McFadden’s character, Phil Mitchell, contemplated suicide, yet luckily, Kellie Bright’s character, Linda Carter, and Paul Bradley’s character, Nigel Bates, managed to convince him to seek help in a psychiatric facility instead.
Regarding Grant, he disappeared during a tough time in Phil’s life, and upon visiting Phil at the hospital, he expressed regret for not being by Phil’s side as much as he ought to have.
But Phil was not in a forgiving mood, ordering Grant out of his life for good.

In the ongoing episode of the BBC soap opera, Grant and Nigel sit down with an expanded family group at the café over breakfast. Meanwhile, both Billy and Grant attempt to pass the blame onto each other, with regard to their failure towards Phil.
In a bid to diffuse the situation, Billy’s sibling Roland Manookian, known as Teddy, and his child Elijah Holloway intervene, halting the angry duo. However, one may wonder how the tensions could intensify further, and what Grant’s next action might be?
After the confrontation, it’s clear that Grant will head back to the café, where he’ll hear some sage advice from an unexpected quarter.
Following the revelation of Nigel’s heart-wrenching truth, Grant intends to find comfort away from him initially, and later extend assistance to an individual with whom he had past disagreements.
But who is this mystery character, and will Grant be able to make amends with the Mitchells?
EastEnders continues on Tuesday 25th February.
