As an old-school gamer with decades of adventuring under my belt, I can’t help but be enthralled by the prospect of diving back into the magical world of GreedFall with its sequel, GreedFall 2: The Dying World. With six skill trees and six companions to choose from, it promises a level of customization that caters to my adventurous spirit.
In less than a week before the Steam early access release, Spiders’ game titled “GreedFall 2: The Dying World” has unveiled an updated development plan. The developer confirmed the incorporation of three distinct regions and the initiation of the main quest. However, players will also have the option to select from six skill trees and six potential companions.
In the coming seasons, we’ll roll out our primary content updates. The first one, arriving this Fall, will carry forward the narrative, introducing a fresh companion along with their quests, a brand new region, a central Hub area, and two additional skill trees. We’ve also got another update lined up for Winter, which includes another companion and their related quests, local missions in Teer Fradee and Uxantis, a new skill tree and abilities, as well as a crafting system to look forward to!
Further along, Spiders plans to progress the primary narrative while introducing a fresh region. You can anticipate brand-new quests, some designed specifically for companions and factions, as well as fresh skill trees, abilities, and an enhanced level limit. Additionally, we’re developing a Photo Mode feature. During the early access period, the developers will strive to regularly refine the game, making adjustments based on your feedback and adding additional content.
On September 24th, the early access version of “GreedFall 2: The Fading World” will be released for PC. Additionally, it is currently being developed for both Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
