As a film enthusiast who grew up with a love for both the magical world of Narnia and the enchanting tales of classic literature, I must admit I am beyond thrilled at Gerwig’93 Greta Gerwig’
We’ve known for some time now that Greta Gerwig’s next film, following the smash hit that was Barbie, is an adaptation of CS Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia for Netflix – and we’ve now got some casting news.
It has been reported by Deadline that Louis Partridge, who has previously starred in the Enola Holmes films as well as Argylle, will play a currently unknown role in the Narnia project.
It’s not yet known which of Lewis’s novels the new movie will adapt, but she is expected to direct at least two films, and there has been some suggestion that one of them will be a new take on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Three of Lewis’s books have been adapted for the big screen in the past – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This leaves four other books which have currently not been made into films.
If Partridge is indeed cast in Gerwig’s Narnia film, it won’t be the only project he has coming up.
