In the tumultuous 14th-century Europe, amidst wars and the devastating Black Death, you will step into the shoes of Coen, a youth navigating the borderland between our familiar daytime world and the mysterious twilight realm. He’s not an ordinary citizen; he’s a vampire, in essence.
In a nutshell, you’re neither completely human nor solely a vampire. You have thirty full days and nights to either rescue your loved ones or retaliate against the one who turned you and annihilate anyone hindering your path.
In the essence of Coen’s character as a Dawnwalker, gameplay flexibility mirrors his very nature. The time of day influences the player’s accessible skills, capabilities, and narrative conclusions. The choice lies with the players: should they strive for humanity or yield to the enigmatic powers bestowed upon them?
