Obsidian Entertainment’s highly anticipated sequel to “The Outer Worlds,” titled “The Outer Worlds 2,” will be released in October. However, fans won’t have to wait that long for another game from the studio. The follow-up to “Grounded,” now known as “Grounded 2,” is set to debut into early access on July 29th, available on Xbox Series X/S through Game Preview and PC via Steam. Here’s a sneak peek at the gameplay for the first release.
In the next installment, it appears that we rejoin the same group of teenagers from the initial game, who find themselves shrunk once more. This time, they are up against towering insects – scorpions, butterflies, and not forgetting those creepy spiders with their protective webs. However, there’s a silver lining; ants can be ridden as steeds, and combat can even occur while on the move!
In addition to new weaponry and equipment, such as a staff imbued with elemental cooling abilities to freeze opponents, the game’s settings appear visually appealing, featuring a seemingly expansive park landscape as the newest location for players to traverse.
The game “Grounded 2” will be playable immediately via Game Pass. At this time, we don’t have any information regarding its release on the PlayStation 5. Keep an eye out for further updates.
