Guilty Gear Strive Announced for Switch, Launches January 23

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of Guilty Gear Strive coming to the Nintendo Switch has left me utterly thrilled! I vividly remember playing the original Guilty Gear on my Game Boy Advance back in 2004, and it’s mind-blowing to think that this new iteration will soon grace my Switch screen.

A highly praised fighting game from recent years is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch, as Arc System Works has confirmed that “Guilty Gear Strive” will be available on the platform in January of next year. Take a peek at its announcement trailer below to catch a glimpse of how it performs on the system.

The Switch version of Guilty Gear Strive will debut with all 28 playable characters available, and it’s good news for fans because a rollback network is also included. This feature is often appreciated in fighting games. Moreover, the price is set at $59.99, which matches the cost on all other platforms.

The Season Pass 4 for Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled to commence towards the end of this year, bringing back Queen Dizzy to the game roster. Over the duration of the season, we can anticipate more characters joining the game, such as Venom, Unika, and a guest character modeled after Lucy from the series “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.”

Guilty Gear Strive is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
