As a huge fan of both Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Guilty Gear Strive, I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that Lucy, one of the beloved characters from the anime series, is joining the roster for Season Pass 4 in Guilty Gear Strive!
With Queen Dizzy, Venom, and the latest fighter Unika unveiled, Arc System Works announced an additional character for Season Pass 4 as a surprise. In a recently made private trailer (thanks to Wario64), it has been confirmed that this newcomer is none other than Lucy from “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.” Unfortunately, there was no concept art shared at this time, but her arrival is predicted for the year 2025.
Lucy Kushinada, known as Lucy, held a significant role in the animated series by STUDIO TRIGGER. Equipped with two Monowires, she effectively dismantled adversaries. Additionally, she carried an Exotic Heavy Pistol named Unity. As a member of Maine’s netrunning team, she tackled various tasks throughout the show, but her ultimate aspiration was to depart from Night City and journey to the Moon.
In CD Projekt RED’s game “Cyberpunk 2077,” Edgerunners was introduced through a post-release update. This marks the initial team-up between this anime and a video game. It will be intriguing to discover how Lucy’s narrative unfolds further.
As a gamer, I can tell you that I’m excited to share that I can play “Guilty Gear Strive” on my Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It’s great news for gamers like me who have access to any of these platforms! On the other hand, “Cyberpunk 2077” is also an option for us, but here’s a heads-up: the latest updates and expansion “Phantom Liberty” are only available on current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X/S and PS5). If you’re interested in my thoughts on “Guilty Gear Strive,” be sure to check out our review.
