As a long-time fan of Guilty Gear and a dedicated follower of its community, I couldn’t help but feel my heart racing during EVO 2024 as Arc System Works made some jaw-dropping announcements. The revelation of new DLC characters for Guilty Gear Strive was especially exciting, with the additions of Dizzy, Venom, and the surprising reveal of Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. But what truly caught my attention was the unveiling of Unika, a mysterious newcomer to the roster.
At EVO 2024, Arc System Works made some significant announcements, including the unveiling of new DLC characters for Guilty Gear Strive. Among these are Dizzy, Venom, and an unexpected addition – Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Additionally, a completely new character named Unika was introduced.

In the spring of 2025, Unika will be added to the list, as mentioned in another tweet, alongside the confirmation of Lucy’s arrival in the summer of that year. Two new stages are scheduled for next year as well. Notably, Dizzy, Venom, and Unika will each receive six new color schemes. However, Lucy won’t obtain any new colors and won’t gain from the new Premium Color option available with the pre-purchase of Season Pass 4.
