Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker’s daughter will be front and center at their upcoming nuptials.
In a recent disclosure, the stars of “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” shared details about the role that two-month-old Aurora might play in their upcoming nuptials.
In an exclusive interview with Will Marfuggi of TopMob News, Ken mentioned that she might serve as our cute flower attendant, and added that Gypsy suggested the possibility of her being the ring bearer too.
When might we spot Gypsy walking down the aisle? The pair, who initially got engaged in 2018 but separated in 2019 before reconciling in 2024 following Gypsy’s divorce from ex Ryan Anderson, aren’t in a hurry to tie the knot.
Ken clarified that we are heading towards that specific path, although we don’t have a specific date yet. It’s a significant goal for us, and it holds great importance in our lives as a family. We all share this desire, and we will reach it eventually. So, keep an eye out for updates.
For now, they are primarily concentrating on adapting to the limelight alongside baby Aurora, given that season 2 of “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” is set to air on Lifetime from March 10 onwards.
Gypsy shared with TopMob, “We’re prioritizing our child’s safety and carefully making parenting decisions amidst the pressures of being in the spotlight. For instance, during the initial weeks following her birth, people were attempting to take photos of her in various ways. We choose not to share her face on social media; this has been our policy for some time.
Despite the growing tension, the 33-year-old—having given birth to Aurora a year ago, following her early release from prison for her part in the 2015 murder of her mother Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard—remained firm in their choice.
She remembered many people saying, “‘Alright, go ahead,’ to which she replied, “Actually, I’m the mom, and you all should honor our choice not to show her.
Gypsy and Ken made it clear that they wanted to focus more on their family relationships rather than dwell on other matters. They expressed a strong appreciation for their close-knit group, particularly Mia Blanchard, who is Gypsy’s half-sister.
I’ve found that everyone has been incredibly supportive. Recently, my dear sister completed her nursing education, focusing on labor and delivery. With her expertise in this field, she’s brimming with knowledge about newborns.
Along with being a support for Gypsy, she’s also Aurora’s godmother.
She excitedly shared, “Our circle of support is enormous! I truly believe Aurora will have an outstanding life as she grows. The key is giving her the freedom to be true to herself.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, currently incarcerated on a 10-year sentence following her guilty plea for second-degree murder in the 2015 death of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard, told TopMob News that she knew Ken Urker was the right person almost immediately after they met in 2017.
