Gypsy Rose Blanchard is celebrating good news for her baby girl.
Following the birth of their daughter Aurora Raina Urker with partner Ken Urker in December, the star of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup openly shared one characteristic she didn’t wish to pass down to her newborn – luckily, it seems that 4-month-old Aurora appears to be free from this particular trait.
Gypsy Rose announced on Instagram on April 23rd that our precious daughter Aurora does not have the uncommon genetic disorder called 1q21.1 microdeletion. She expressed feelings of great joy and thankfulness, sharing that she and Ken are now filled with immense relief and gratitude.
In her memoir “My Time to Stand,” the reality star disclosed a health issue that’s characterized as a chromosomal alteration where a tiny part of chromosome 1 is missing in every cell. This condition, as explained by the National Institute of Health’s MedlinePlus, raises the likelihood of developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, physical abnormalities, and both neurological and psychiatric issues.
33-year-old Gypsy Rose shared that her four-month-old child is thriving happily, healthily, and blossoming wonderfully. She expressed excitement about enjoying each moment with the baby, carrying their days forward with lighter feelings and optimistic attitudes.

In late March 2024, three months after her prison release, Gypsy shared that she and Ryan broke up.
She posted on her personal Facebook account, as reported by People, that there’s been curiosity about her life situation. Sadly, she and her spouse are dealing with a separation, which has led her to move back to her parents’ house near the bayou.
On April 5, 2024, Gypsy had a nose surgery which included both rhinoplasty (reshaping the nose) and septoplasty (correcting the internal structure of the nose). This transformation in her appearance will be featured on Lifetime’s show Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.
On April 8, 2024, as court records show and reported by TMZ, Gypsy initiated a divorce from Ryan. This move was made approximately two years following their wedding in jail on July 2022.
By the end of April 2024, around a few weeks after filing for divorce, Gypsy revealed her reconciliation with her former fiancé, Ken Urker. A month later, they confirmed their rekindled relationship on social media by posting a video compilation of their romantic moments on TikTok.

Approximately three months following the divorce filing, Gypsy revealed that she and her newest partner, Ken, are anticipating the birth of their first child together.
In a YouTube video posted in July 2024, she joyfully revealed, “I’ve got some wonderful news to share – I’m 11 weeks pregnant!” She continued, expressing her surprise, “It wasn’t something we had planned; it came as a total shock.
