Hades 2 Will Launch for Switch and Switch 2

Initially launched exclusively on PC in an early access phase last year, Supergiant Games, the developer behind it, has recently announced that they are expanding the platforms for their roguelike action game “Hades 2” to include a couple more targets.

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, they revealed that “Hades 2” is planned for both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. However, an exact release date for the game on these platforms has yet to be determined. It’s not surprising that this sequel appears to favor a Switch release over other consoles, given that its precursor followed a similar strategy.

On its official site, Supergiant Games has verified that the game will operate at a resolution of 1080p on the Switch 2, and 60 frames per second (FPS) on both the original Switch and the new Switch 2. The studio also shared some insights about the release timeline for Hades 2 in its development phase. They mentioned that there is at least one more significant update to be expected during the game’s early access period, with the full 1.0 launch scheduled to follow after this update.

As a passionate admirer of Hades 2, I’m excitedly sharing the news that while we don’t have a specific release date for the full version just yet, we’re making steady progress! Right now, you can already experience the game in Early Access on various computer platforms. We’ve got at least one more Major Update up our sleeve before the 1.0 launch, so keep your eyes peeled for further updates later this year. I can hardly wait to join you all in the full release of Hades 2!

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but share my excitement about an early access gem I recently delved into – Hades 2!
